The Global Hotel Price Transparency Project exists to verify and document this reality with real examples, starting in Japan and expanding globally.

On July 7, 2026, Susumu Hasegawa lost the person he loved most.
In the midst of grief, he chose the words that would guide GHPTP:
旅は、新しい景色と、新しい一日へ人を連れていく。
The joy of travel for everyone.
Travel takes us to new horizons,
and toward a new day.
These words express the belief that travel is not only movement between places. It can bring light, perspective, and the courage to face a new day.
Gekiyasu Hotel Yoyaku.com Launches
Susumu Hasegawa launched Gekiyasu Hotel Yoyaku.com, a hotel price transparency initiative designed to help travelers discover limited and special hotel rates that may not appear on major booking sites alone.
The project builds on previous tourism support initiatives in Japan, including Hotel Saiyasune Kensaku.club during the Go To Travel period, Hokuriku Ouenwari.jp, and Noto Kanko Wari.jp.
GHPTP Expands to Cities Worldwide

The Global Hotel Price Transparency Project is now verifying hidden hotel rates across multiple cities worldwide. Some of the lowest prices appear only after tapping “Go to site”, not in the initial search results.
